Mobile Truck Repair in Sacramento

The shop comes to the truck

Some repairs don't need a bay — and some trucks can't reach one. Our mobile service puts a mechanic, parts, and diagnostics at your yard, dock, job site, or roadside across the Sacramento region.

Scheduled on-site service

This is the planned side of mobile work — different from a breakdown call:

  • PM services at your yard — oil, fluids, and checks done where the trucks park, so they don't lose a working day
  • Diagnostics on a truck that's acting up but still working — find out what you're dealing with before it strands a load
  • Brake work, electrical faults, tires, belts, hoses, and batteries
  • Trailer repairs at the dock — lights, air leaks, brakes
  • Multi-truck visits for fleet customers — one trip, several trucks

What stays in the shop

Honesty about limits: internal engine work, transmission jobs, and anything needing a lift or press gets done properly in our North Highlands bays. When a mobile visit finds shop-level work, we'll say so and arrange the logistics — towing available.

Coverage & scheduling

Based on the I-80/Watt Avenue corridor, covering the Sacramento metro and surrounding markets. Call (916) 571-8888 — scheduled visits are booked around your operation's hours where we can. English and Russian spoken.

What travels well, and what does not

  • Done at your yard routinely: diagnostics and code reading, batteries and charging, starters and alternators, belts and hoses, air leaks and valves, brake chambers and slack adjusters, lighting and wiring, trailer brakes, lights and doors, tires, PM services, forced regens when the truck’s data allows one.
  • Usually shop work: internal engine repair, clutch and transmission jobs, differentials and axles, DPF removal for cleaning, anything that needs a lift, a press, or a clean bench. When a mobile visit finds this, we say so on the spot and arrange the move — towing can be arranged.

What a mobile visit needs from you

Three things make a yard visit efficient: the truck parked where a service vehicle can reach both sides of it, the keys and any fault history or driver notes ready, and a person who can approve the estimate by phone. Multi-truck visits work best when the units are lined up together and nobody needs to move them mid-job.

Scheduling for fleets

Fleet customers book mobile visits in blocks — several trucks, one trip — and scheduled overnight and weekend work is available by arrangement so maintenance happens while the trucks would otherwise sit idle. Findings go into each unit’s record the same as shop work, which is what makes maintenance planning possible across a yard. Start with the fleet solutions overview if you run several trucks.

Common questions

Is mobile repair more expensive than the shop?

A mobile visit carries travel, so we quote it up front on the phone — for many jobs it's still cheaper than losing the truck's day to a shop trip. You'll know before you book.

How is this different from roadside assistance?

Same mechanics, different urgency. Roadside is now-or-stranded; mobile service is planned work where the truck lives. If you're broken down right now, go to the emergency page — or just call.

Can you service several trucks in one visit?

Yes — that's the most efficient way to use mobile service, and how our fleet customers usually book it.

Do you repair trailers at the dock?

Yes — brakes, air leaks, lights and wiring, doors and landing gear are classic dock repairs, often while the trailer is still loaded. Anything that needs the trailer lifted or emptied gets the honest call on the phone first.

Can a mobile visit happen outside business hours?

After-hours and emergency service is available by phone, and scheduled overnight and weekend work is available for fleets by arrangement. Routine single-truck visits are normally booked within shop hours, Monday to Friday.

Before you call: have this ready

A minute with this list makes the call shorter and gets the right help moving.

  1. 1

Where the truck is. Highway and direction, the nearest exit or mile marker, or a dropped pin. In a yard or lot, the street address and gate.

  2. 2

What it is. Make, model, year and engine, plus the unit number or VIN. Say if a trailer is attached and what type.

  3. 3

What it is doing. Which warning lights are on, and whether solid or flashing; any derate, noise, smell, smoke or leak; and when it started.

  4. 4

Whether it moves. Does it start, will it build air, can it be driven or must it be towed — and is it loaded or empty.

  5. 5

Whether you are safe. Off the travel lane if you can be, hazards on and warning devices out.

  6. 6

Who approves the repair. Your name and number, or the dispatcher or owner who signs off. Payment is due on completion.

The federal rule on hazard lamps and placing warning devices is in our warning triangles guide; whether it can be fixed where it sits is covered in mobile repair or a tow?. Then call (916) 571-8888.
